BASF Shanghai Coatings Co. Ltd. is a 60-40 joint venture of BASF Coatings AG and Shanghai Coatings Corporation. There are various manufacturing and development facilities for the production of automotive OEM coatings for the Asian market at the Shanghai site. With this plant, BASF Coatings is positioned at a strategic point of the automotive industry in China. There are currently more than 220 employees at the Shanghai plant. Being close to the local market, BASF Coatings can combine the supply of high quality automotive OEM coatings with best possible customer service.
