Windsor

At its Windsor plant in Canada, BASF Coatings produces automotive OEM coatings for North America. The plant has been part of the global BASF Coatings network since 1985. North America is the region with the world’s highest environmental standards, therefore the Windsor plant produces mainly waterbased coatings for the North American automotive industry that feature particularly low VOC emission levels. The plant covers an area of approximately 35,000 square meters, and currently employs approximately 150 people. The plant is TS 16949, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.
