Schedule of activities / placements
The 18- to 24-month trainee program consists of three to four 6-month
placements and is tailored to the individual needs of our trainees. Both the
respective talents and qualifications and the future target position are taken
into account.

Planning of the schedule of activities and different placements includes
intensive consultation with the HR department. The first step is to define
potential target positions in the company and the identification of relevant
requirements. The first placement is planned on the basis of this information
and discussed with the strategic business units. The subsequent placements are
specified jointly in response to individual development needs, and finally the
entry into the target position is planned.
In order to familiarise themselves with the full variety of the company, it
is obligatory for trainees to undertake certain placements: As well as one
placement in the Coatings Services corporate division, for example Finance
& Accounting, Information Management or Procurement you are going to work
in a customer-facing area as Account & Product Management, Sales or
Technical Support.
