Colors for Honda (CP 1/2009)

Exclusive presentation of color tones for the Chinese market to Japanese carmaker.

		In August 2008, BASF Coatings conducted its first Color Show for Honda in China, with color designers Chiharu Matsuhara from Tokyo and Vivienne Liu of Shanghai presenting 16 shades specially developed for the Chinese market. In addition, some 90 customers had the opportunity to find out about the latest colors and color trends.
“The Color Show met with great interest, and we believe its success affirms the quality of our work. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of our people who were involved,” said Taichi Okayama, Honda Account Manager in China. The presentation was held at the Huangpu plant in Guangzhou, which will be taking on greater importance for Honda’s internal color design as the future development and production site for the new passenger model LI NIAN.
