Suvinil^® is named Brazil’s top paint producer.

In 2008, Suvinil, BASF Coatings’ decorative paint brand in Latin America, was the winner in the annual industry awards presented by Brazilian trade journal “Paint & Pintura” in the Architectural Coatings category.

The Prêmio Paint & Pintura awards are the most prestigious distinction in the Brazilian paint industry, the event being held now for the 12th time. “For Suvinil, the award means recognition of how we continually invest in our products,” says Francisco Verza, Head of BASF Architectural Coatings in South America.

Suvinil is focusing increasingly on environmentally compatible technologies as part of its strategy in the expanding Brazilian market, partnering closely with Relius, BASF Coatings’ European architectural coatings brand.
