Design
Not only is the finish the car’s protective outer skin, it also
provides a car’s aesthetic attraction and can even become its trademark.
However, the same color does not suit every type of car, and not every color
meets customers’ tastes to the same extent. This is the challenge for color
stylists. Their role is to create colors which will achieve practical
acceptance from the every-expanding range of pigments. With their keen feeling
for the zeitgeist they operate at the interface between design, engineering,
and marketing to bring together aesthetics and feasibility.
