Automotive OEM Coatings

		In co–operation with Daimler–Benz and the equipment manufacturer Dürr Systems, BASF Coatings GmbH has developed and made suitable for use in line production a painting process which is unique in the world with regard to efficiency and ecological aspects.
		Eurostar, a joint venture company set up by Chrysler and Steyr Daimler Puch in Graz, Austria, started late in 1995 to use a powder coating manufactured by BASF Coatings AG to give stone–chip protection to its Voyager cars.

		R-M’s environmentally friendly approach to the industry pre-empted the market with the introduction of the fully compliant ONYX HD waterborne basecoat system and UNO HD solid colour system. Being customer oriented and environmentally friendly is one of the core values of R-M. Perfection made simple.

Industrial Coatings

		On the market for 10 years, and not a sign of old age. Pevicoat, the BASF Coatings’ technical service concept for the coil coatings industry, is now celebrating the tenth anniversary of its market presence.

Decorative Paints

		Facades make buildings more colorful. RELIUS develops and produces decorative paints and brings them to market throughout Europe.
		Interior paints by RELIUS make living rooms and bedrooms cozy.
		BASF launched its NORBINTM brand in the Chinese market for decorative paints in December 2009.

		Raimar Jahn President of the BASF Group's Coatings Division Chairman of the Management Board of BASF Coatings GmbH Mr. Jahn holds a university degree in business administration. He joined BASF in 1985 and the Coatings Division in 2006.
		Dr. Helmut Rödder Managing Director of BASF Coatings GmbH Mr. Rödder holds a PhD in law. He joined BASF in 1981 and the Coatings Division in 2007.
		Juan Ximénez-Carrillo Gerber Head of the Strategic Business Unit Automotive OEM Coatings Solutions Europe Mr. Ximénez-Carrillo Gerber holds a university degree in engineering. He joined BASF in 1974 and the Coatings Division in 2006.
		Harald Pflanzl Head of the Strategic Business Unit Automotive Refinish Coatings Solutions Europe Mr. Pflanzl holds a university degree in metallurgy and a master in business administration. He joined BASF in 2000 and the Coatings Division in 2010.
		Peter-Alexander Fischer Head of the Strategic Business Unit Industrial Coatings Solutions Europe Mr. Fischer holds a university degree in engineering. He joined BASF Coatings in 1988.
		Martin Wulle Head of Business Management Decorative Paints Europe and Managing Director of RELIUS Coatings GmbH & Co. KG Mr. Wulle holds a university degree in business administration. He joint BASF’s Coatings Division in 1994.
